Shop of the Day: For its latest Photoshop contest, Cracked asked its readers to envision a world in which the Internet has been turned off, and citizens are forced to make do without it.
Above is the winning entry, which, funnily enough, may be the very reason the Internet gets turned off, seeing as there really is no reason to keep going.

“The soundwaves are actual objects, reminiscent of the height of a tree. I recorded them when the forest was still there. Then, when the trees had gone, I put the ‘sounds’ back to where they used to exist, sounds that look like trees that will never be heard again.”
